Please note: if you already have a complete diploma (meaning you do not apply with predicted grades), you may apply as an early bird applicant. You will then be notified if you will be admitted before December 24, 2023. If you are not admitted then, you will still keep your spot in the main application round with a chance to be admitted later on. For the Early Bird application, you need to have a university admission test score (SAT or ACT) at the very latest in mid-November, 2023.

SSE has a holistic approach to the application process. Three areas are assessed:
1. UPPER SECONDARY DIPLOMA / HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA / IB DIPLOMA
2. UNIVERSITY ADMISSION TEST (SAT or ACT)
3. CV/RESUME

A. Diploma completed in 2024 or before with a minimum GPA corresponding to at least 17.0 (out of 20) in the Swedish grading system.
Please note: admission is highly competitive and normally requires higher grades than the minimum requirement.
- If you apply with predicted grades (in your last year of high school studies):
You may apply in your last year of studies if you include predicted grades with your application.If your school cannot give you predicted grades, you can insteadenclose astudy plan that showsprevious high school grades as well aswhat youwillbe studying to completeyourDiploma.Conditional admissions will be offered to students graduating after the application deadline. You must complete your application with final grades and documents no later than by the date of enrolment in August, 2024.
- If you apply with a complete diploma:
If you have already finished your high school studies and have a complete diploma, you can choose to apply as an early bird applicant to get a quicker admission notification. See more information at the top of this page under "Application requirements & timeline).
B. Subject requirement: Mathematics.The equivalent of at leastMathematics 3B/3Cin the Swedish system.C. Subject requirement: English.

(Overall score of 6.5 and no section below 5.5)- TOEFL iBT

- Pearson PTE Academic

We acceptSAT or ACT test results that are up to five years old from the date the test was taken. A test score is required fromallapplicants. The applications will be assessed holistically and there is no cut-off minimum score for the tests, but high score is favored. We do not accept SAT or ACT Superscore.

The CV/resume should include relevant experience, education, volunteer experience and extracurricular activities. Please note that we do not expect you to have an extensive resume, but this is your opportunity to present yourself.
HOW SHOULD I APPLY?
Submit your application to UniversityAdmissions.se. You can apply from October 16, 2023 to January 15, 2024.
All documents relating to your high school studies should be uploaded with your applicationincludingyour grades (orpredicted gradesifyou are in your final year of studies-see application requirements above).Hereyou findmore information about therequired documentsthat must beuploaded.Also make sure to read through theinstructions for internationalBachelor’sapplicants here.
All applicants can upload supporting documents themselves at their account with UniversityAdmissions.se But if your school doesn’t want to give the predicted grades directly to you as a student, the school can e-mail them directly to UniversityAdmissions (UHR) to verifications@uhr.se and write your application number in the email.
It is UniversityAdmissions.sethat assesses your qualifications, once you have submitted an application.
Pleasenote:only upload diploma/transcripts and English testresults to UniversityAdmissions.se. DoNOTupload CV/resume or SAT/ACT/TSA results. This is done directly to SSEwhen you submitapplication #2 (seenext step).
Please note:SSE does not charge anapplication fee. However,UniversityAdmissions.se charges a small application fee of SEK 900 depending on which citizenship you have.In general,onlyindividuals who are citizens of countries outside of EU/EEA/Switzerland are required to pay application and tuition fees. There are however some exceptions to this general rule.Find out if you are required to pay an application fee or nothere.
Please note: If you are required to pay an application fee,UniversityAdmissionsmust have received the money no later than February 1.Find more informationonhow to pay your application feehere.
IMPORTANT: Except for the general application you do on UniversityAdmissions.se, you will need to finish your application by adding some information and documents on SSE's own application portal Full Fabric no later than January 15, 2024. Please note that if you want to apply as an early bird applicant (only for students who do not apply with predicted grades), you need to submit your application before November 1, 2023.

If any additional steps are required related to your application, our BSc Admissions Team will notify you. Please note, however, SSE will not comment on your qualifications as this isconductedby UniversityAdmissions.se.
If you are selected to proceed to the next round, we will send out invitations to the digital (online) interviews on February 15, 2024. The interviews are scheduled in February, 2024.
Ifyou apply as an early bird applicant (only for students with a complete diploma who do not apply with predicted grades) and proceed to the next round, you will do your interview during the period November 15-21, 2023.
If youare admitted to SSE, we will send anoffer of admission in the beginning of April, 2024. You will need to respond to this in early May, 2024.
If you are an early bird applicant (only for students with a complete diploma who do not apply with predicted grades) you will be notified if you are admitted before December 24, 2023 and will need to reply to your offer on February 1, 2024.
