Also that emotional maturity must have the emotional resilience in order to serve OUR INNATE HUMAN NEED TO GRIEVE TOGETHER & TO SEEK FOR THE TRUTH of HUMAN HISTORY + OUR COLLECTIVE MORAL COURAGE TO BE RESPONSE+ABLE FOR IT SERVING HUMAN COMPASSION & CARE FOR EACH OTHER ON EARTH. In North American maintream culture or major value system, unfortunately, empathy is just individual choice to make as it was guided by my former American Canadian white skinned, cis gender straight, "old man", as he jokingly referred himself to me, talk therapy counsellor 17 yrs ago in Vancouver. (He has been one of my fav counsellors that I had in the past, also as certified and well practiced Erickson Hypnotherapist. I strongly and clearly disagreed with his point of view on human empathy, raised up and migrated from such collective and relational nation, Korea 18 yrs ago. I argued with him that the human empathy must be our shared human responsbility and duty to be in service to our human communities and histories as I was taught and raised in Korean indigenous traditional world view and value system, especially regarding 홍익인간 (弘益人間) =BENEFIT ALL HUMAN (on Earth not just in Korea). In my cultural upbringing and ethnical background, the ability to empathize "the others" thick & think persoanlities as well as rainy & sunny days is the must social skills for all grown ups to have if that person has decent degree and sense of emotional intelligence and maturity of any kind for one's adulthood unlike childhood or teenhood. I have observed that his opinion was well justified until this point of having the existential crisis of human societies and collective survivals as one human species on Earth. However, I don't think that kinda nice optionality of human empathy can stay in that loose choice spectrum to make it. In my current social sense and outlook on humanity at large o Earth, the human emapthy with strong emotional resiliency and maturity is "the must" option for our collective survival and evolution before the humanoid AI bots completes their intellectual emapthy deep learning lagnauge modules on human communications and social needs etc. that they could make their own decision to control over far beyond what we can control over their "functions" or capacities sooner or later. We don't have much time left to choose in that evolutionary journey on human emapthy and emotional intelligence development. Unfortunately we don't, so better now than never and certainly better now than later to just do make it, eh? :) #TrueOptimism #BuiltIn #HumanEmpathy #NotBlindOptimism #EmotionalMaturity #Means #Values #Serves #EmotionalResiliency #ToSitInTheMud #CollectiveGrieving #Loss #BeyondTheSelfCenterism #NoMore #TooMuchIndividualism #TogetherBetter #Friendship #OverOwnership

God Is Always with YouThroughout history, battles have been raging. Dominance and power are something no leader wants to give up. And whether we like them or not, wars are a part of life. Sometimes, these wars are necessary, while other times, they are selfish and senseless. Engaging in a war also means the soldiers must be deployed to the battlefield to fight. Despite whatever, Ecclesiastes 3:8 warns us that there is A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace. Beloved, what battles are you currently fighting? Are they personal or spiritual? Are they related to your family, church, or something on your job? Maybe it is physical or some mental or emotional challenges you are facing. It might be some form of financial distress or a strained relationship with someone.Whatever they are, when you feel nobody understands your plight, it leaves you feeling as if you are vulnerable and alone. You may seem fine on the surface, but deep inside, you are hurting, and nobody knows the extent of your pain and how much you have cried. That is nobody except God. Since I have walked in the valley of despair, I can relate to how you feel and bring tidings of great joy. (Luke 2:9-11). Like the angels that illuminated the sky when Christ was born, you can find hope and peace in your situation. Besides, how often do we pray for a better outcome during our most challenging circumstances? If you are walking a rocky and rough road, find comfort in knowing God has invaluable lessons and blessings through this fierce battle. In Hebrews 12:1, we discover He promises that you do not fight alone because He has a cloud of witnesses who have been through what you have been through. Let their stories encourage you. God has been faithful before, and He will be faithful again. Be strong and take courage because you are more than a conqueror. God is with you in your battles. He is not going anywhere, and He is standing right beside you.#fiercebattles #Godisfaithful #invaluablelessons #theblessingsRevealing Jesus by Spreading Faith, Hope, and Lovehttps://lnkd.in/eJXp8GA
